Through the years, many artists (and fans) have concluded their tour and said, “I wish I could relive this journey again.” Many fans wish they could relive the tour from when they were first introduced to the artist, and for fans of Halsey, now they can!

Halsey announced the Back to Badlands Tour for the 10-year anniversary of her debut album, Badlands. The tour stops in

the US, UK, Mexico, Australia, Europe, and more! With the setlist reflecting the original journey, this is sure to make fans nostalgic about the first tour. Throwbacks like “Trouble,” “New Americana,” and “Colors” are all songs that made the setlist. Even new remixes of songs like “Colors (Rock Version),” which mixes the original lyrics with a hyper-pop-punk backing track that ties it all together! Anime versions of Halsey and their band fly around on the big screen while she sings!

For the tour, she offered her longtime fans a chance to get closer to her. On The Badlands Tour (2015), VIP packages came with Halsey-branded passports in pink & blue. For the Back to Badlands Tour (2025), you could “renew” your passport for entry into the venue before anyone else. While this is a good idea in theory, it caused massive delays during the show. Over 500+ people showed up with passports for the Atlanta stop of the tour, leading the show to be delayed by 1 hour to accommodate all the early entry passes. I love the idea of the passport getting old fans closer to the stage, but I also think that venue staff could have handled this better on their part.

Before the show, security was passing out Badlands-branded 3D-Glasses for a special segment in the show where the visuals come to life! During the song “Lonely Is the Muse,” the screen had a moving video of Halsey floating in space, which became even more real with the glasses on! She is a true performer and artist when it comes to stage design. Last tour, she had an Alice in Wonderland themed stage, and for the Back to Badlands Tour, she transforms us into a desert oasis where the Badlands are!

Halsey put out a 10th anniversary of their first album Badlands, which included orchestra versions and a new track titled “Garden,” a fan favorite that was previously unreleased. When the album initially sold 100,000 copies back in 2015, it has now sold over 3 MILLION copies 10 years later, garnered 9 BILLION streams, and every song on the album is certified gold, platinum, or multi-platinum by the RIAA!

In honor of the 10-year anniversary, Halsey also put on the original wig & jacket and released the “Drive” music video!
