The Tennessee singer turns stories into songs at his beautiful live show

A rising star in the indie Americana scene, Hunter Metts, gave a stellar performance on Tuesday night in Atlanta at The Loft @ Center Stage. Through his personal songwriting and charismatic storytelling, Metts proves himself as a force to be reckoned with in the modern music scene.

Playing with bandmate, Billy!, Metts did the entire set with his classic-styled voice and just a guitar in his hands. Through a simple setup, he conveyed a wide range of emotions along with different highs and lows when playing singles from his career. These included cuts off his new EP, A Crater Wide, which released last month.
In this intimate setting, the “Weathervane” singer/songwriter was able to build a strong connection with fans from Atlanta. His massive mutual respect for headliner Leif Vollebekk was clear as he thanked him multiple times for the opportunity to be on this tour. Metts also gave a shoutout to Vollebekk for creative inspiration and production throughout a few of the songs in the setlist.
In his time on the stage, Hunter Metts and Co. stayed humble but were not afraid to own it. His authentic personality allowed the songs to be able to speak for themselves. Being able to bask in the live versions of his singles is something that will definitely leave an impact on many.

Thank you so much to Hunter Metts, his team, and Center Stage for a great show! Please enjoy a gallery of highlights from the evening.
