Juanes’ concert in Atlanta last week created a vibrant celebration of Colombian culture and music. The entire evening was a party for those who love Juanes' work; the audience was lively and supportive from start to finish. The most impressive aspect of Juanes' concert was the audience. They were all so happy and enthusiastic, and they all seemed to share a common bond over Juanes and his music. The sense of Latin community was evident as they sang along, danced and enjoyed the performance as a group.

Despite being strangers to one another, everyone at the concert felt like family and the atmosphere was very inviting and friendly. Although the show was seated, many fans moved their seats aside so that they could get up and dance!

Juanes got the crowd pumped with energy all night performing songs with his signature Latin style of rock. Whether or not concertgoers were there to hear him play his biggest hits, the audience definitely enjoyed seeing Juanes perform live!

Juanes’ show was Colombian pride and culture rolled into one. His undeniable energy invited his fan base to celebrate their country’s pride and passion and to show the Atlanta community what Colombian culture and lifestyle has to offer. Perhaps the best part of his show was combining his high-energy setlist and the crowds infectious energy to create the uniquely warm feeling that Atlanta is not only a stop and but a destination on a tour.

As my father, a Colombian who grew up listening to Juanes, said: “¡El es muy bueno para esto!”

By the end of the night, Juanes had given Atlanta a performance that was easy to appreciate. The friendly crowd and his strong stage presence made the show feel welcoming from beginning to end. For the fans in attendance, it was a night centered around music, culture, and the Colombian spirit that Juanes brought with him to Atlanta. Thank you Juanes!
