The LA artist defines pop perfection in her live show

On January 31st, Meg Smith brought Girls Just Wanna Go On Tour to Altar at Atlanta’s Masquerade. The venue filled quickly, and anticipation was high leading up to her set.

Meg took the stage at 8 p.m. and immediately she drew a strong reaction from the crowd. Angel halo headbands lit up the room, creating a cohesive visual that reflected the artist’s branding and the fans’ enthusiasm. From the opening song, the audience was fully engaged.
Throughout the set, Meg delivered consistent and controlled vocals that translated well in a live setting. Her performance struck a balance between polished pop production and genuine interaction. She regularly acknowledged the crowd, creating a sense of closeness that made the show feel personal rather than routine.

She stated “I want to play a song that everyone in the crowd would know even if they don’t know me. I just want you all to dance.” She let the crowd pick between 3 songs, “Mamma Mia” by ABBA, “Toxic” by Britney Spears, or “I Kissed A Girl” by Katy Perry. The crowd ultimately chose what I consider the best song, “Toxic” by Britney Spears.
Her energy transcended sound, it transcended vibration in the venue, it translated to feelings, to vibes, to photographs. Her energy was so vibrant the photos captured from the night truly show her performance atmosphere!
Meg’s stage presence was confident and engaging. She moved naturally across the stage coinciding with the audience and keeping energy levels high from start to finish. The crowd responded enthusiastically, singing along to nearly every song and matching her energy throughout the night.
