The online superstar continues to connect with fans at his latest sold-out show

Shane Michael Boone, born and raised in New York City, transforms into his stage persona sombr when he steps under the lights. In August 2025, he released his debut album I Barely Know Her, which racked up an impressive 17.6 million streams on its debut day, according to @SnapshotSpotify on X (formerly Twitter).

In April 2025, sombr was set to play the Atlanta stop of his tour at The Loft @ Center Stage, but due to demand he quickly upgraded to the same venue’s Center Stage. Later, due to exponential demand he upgraded to Atlanta’s own The Tabernacle with over triple the amount of capacity! He’s gotten praise from industry legends like Taylor Swift, Tate McRae, and Tony Berg, who is known best for his musical production with Phoebe Bridgers. Truthfully, sombr could have sold out arenas, but he chose intimate theaters and smaller venues to preserve that genuine connection with fans.
After his concert, sombr’s team had a stage set up outside in the parking lot where he sang a couple of songs and met some fans. It's a small act that truly shows his appreciation for his fans which makes the connection between them even more special.

The way sombr electrifies the stage is such a unique talent that is rare these days. He doesn’t do it for anybody, only for his love of the art. He dropped out of high school to pursue his career of songwriting and best believe, it worked! sombr connects with his fans in a special enriched way that always exceeds expectations
sombr’s energy is so vibrant that—I’m not even kidding you when I say this—he made the building shake. I was downstairs getting some merch, when he told everyone to jump, and then the building is shaking! That is the most energy I’ve ever seen in a crowd correlating with the person on stage, and it was a beautiful phenomenon that I loved to experience live.

Thank you to Rival Entertainment and The Masquerade for an incredible evening, and thank you sombr and his team for letting Art Seen ATL cover the show! Please enjoy a gallery of photos from the evening below.
